When it comes to finding makeup for men, you really only want to find something to help cover up any imperfections you have on your skin. For example, finding a light type of foundation to cover up bumps, marks or scars can make you look like you have perfect skin. If you’re the type of guy who has heavy marks under your eyes that make you look more like a serial killer than someone to hook up with, foundation can making your dating experience ten times better. Another thing that may help you out is eyeliner. Yes, we know. Eyeliner seems to be a bit extreme, but it can help bring out your eyes, especially if you have an average face. In fact, foundation and eyeliner are really the only two things you need. Don’t even think about lipstick or eye shadow. That is a territory you definitely don’t want to cross into.

Chances are when you start trying to apply your own makeup, you’re going to do it wrong and it’s going to look horrible. If you don’t want to risk going out and asking someone in public, you can let the Internet save you in your time of need. Try looking up DIY videos on YouTube or various websites that tell you how to wear makeup if you’re a man. Believe it or not, there are plenty of them out there. Do not use any websites that give tips to women or drag queens. Also, steer clear of the makeup looks found on the album covers for 80’s hair bands. You want your makeup to look natural. If you’ve done it correctly, no one will even be able to tell that you’re wearing it.

Always remember that applying makeup takes practice. We can bet that you’ve seen a woman or two who have obviously made bad makeup choices. We advise you to practice your makeup indoors and keep it indoors until you’re fully sure that it looks passable. Take a photo of yourself in your makeup and look it over.
